What is Page CTR and Page eCPM ?

Sarath asks: What is Page CTR and page eCPM ?

Answer: Hi Sarath, thanks for your time here. Here’s the answer to your question.

CTR stands for Click thru rate and eCPM stands for effective cost per 1000 impressions. I have written an article on this and also other terms that an adsense Publisher should know. Pls find the article here.

Google has not yet revealed the points they consider while monitoring adsense publishers. Many people make educated guess on things.

As for the normal trend, CTR doesn't go this way up! (34%) unless some TOS violation is done.

As Google is well aware of this, they will try to protect the advertisers interest.

So stay away from further violation and think long term.

Btw, stay tuned for "Testing your sites risk free"
